Let me guess… you’re feeling a little burnt out? Gone are the days of taking photos on a camera you physically had to go out & purchase film for, press an actual button & then take that same roll to be printed. These days, it’s all too easy to take 100 photos in a single day if we want to & not print a single one! Does that make you as sad as it makes me?
How many of those photographs are now in an album? 40, 20 or none? This is the reality for most people so don’t feel disheartened.
That’s where Elysian Creative steps in.
It’s rather simple: you send us your photographs & we design your albums. Ok, it’s slightly more complicated than that so let’s clarify:

HOW IT ALL WORKS
CHOOSING YOUR ALBUM & CONFIRMING YOUR QUOTE
First you’ll fill out our quote form here.
We ask a few basic questions about the type of album (wedding, family etc) and then get all the finer details like size, page amount, cover choices etc and our nifty system will auto quote you within a few hours. You will have the option to either approve the quote or request a new one should it not be perfect.
Once you’re happy we move onto the next steps: Designing.
PICK YOUR IMAGES & WE'LL HANDLE THE DESIGN
It might be a little overwhelming to choose your favourite snaps out of the 12 228 images on your camera roll but the best way to start is simply to begin.
Pick an event, like a holiday or a special birthday, then select your favs, upload them to Dropbox or Google Drive and send us the download link.
Once we have both your images and payment, you will be emailed with your design schedule date. Turnaround time for designs is usually within 3 days of your date. Each and every album we design is a one of kind and no design is ever duplicated.
OUR PRINT PROCESS EXPLAINED
Upon approval of your digital design and confirmation of your full payment, we’ll send your album to print.
Most printers take between 2 – 4 weeks for delivery with some taking up to 6 weeks. Keep in mind, printers also have peak seasons which can cause delays.
We work with a number of reputable South African printers. Quality & service delivery is of the utmost importance to us so you can be assured your album print is of the highest standard.

designed, approved, paid.. now what?
Once your album has arrived in our studio and we’ve completed our quality check and made sure your order is perfect we will package it and prepare it for delivery.
We also work solely with MDS Collivery couriers as we have found they offer the best rates & they have automated emails that keep both us & you informed of the delivery every step of the way which keeps everyone happy.
Once the courier has confirmed delivery we then mark the project as completed.
Packaging
Our albums are packaged beautifully in our custom tissue paper and each receives a handwritten note, a voucher for our online store and an instruction card on how to correctly care for the album. We have beautiful craft boxes we package our albums in that securely hold it in place to ensure as little damage as possible occurs during transit.
